Our Top 10 Transformations of 2018!

The holidays are truly a magical time of year but for us wedding planner January is pretty great as well!!

We finally get a chance to go thru all the great photographer images of our years work, and 2018 DID NOT disappoint!  The Design Co team was fortunate to be involved in some amazing weddings and we have put together a post of our top 10 before and afters (in no particular order)

 

Who doesn’t love a good before an after!!

 

Number 10

Kicking our season off with a bang, we got a chance to do something that has never been done in the city before.  Design a completely outdoor dining experience at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier:

What a change!!!  One of our fave transformations.

This reception design was built in a completely empty space and we could not be more thrilled with the result!

From literally nothing…to EVERYTHING!

When spaces are used for corporate functions it is sometimes hard to see how they can be made into beautiful wedding spaces.  The deep, rich colours in this transformations will never have you thinking business!

It’s no secret we adore working at the Chateau and the drawing room with its neutral walls and square space is a definite fave!

It is always exciting when the city opens a new venue so when the Westin started construction on Twenty-Two we could NOT wait to get our hands on it!

The colours in the Adam room can scare a bride but we like to think of the blue as a neutral and pull in some darker tones to make it all work!

Our company was super honoured to be the team behind this superstar wedding!

The National Gallery is a fave location in the city and this before and after still makes our heart sing.

This was our first time at the All Saints Event Space, and did we ever love it!

What a complete blank canvas for us to work with.  Designing this Caribbean dream was just that, a dream.

One of our biggest transformation this past season!!

We completely re-designed the Horticulture Building, you can barely tell that is where we are.  LOVE it.
